4 To be aware of Child Protection Procedures and report immediately to your line Manager any concerns which arise, to record this information and to identify the appropriate action where necessary.
5 To encourage positive self-image in children and their family regardless of cultural heritage, race, religious beliefs disability and gender.
6 To develop an awareness of, and maintain a high standard of health and safety requirements in the centre adhering to legislative guidance.
7 To undertake key worker responsibilities for a group of children. To monitor and record their development within their individual early years profile, using this information to enable appropriate developmental targets for the child to be set.
8 To support students undertaking training or work experience in an appropriate and positive manner during their practical placements.
9 To develop knowledge and skills that contributes to the overall enhancement of the service through attending relevant training courses.
10 To be an active participant in individual and group supervision meetings, and to contribute in staff and parent/staff meetings.
11 To undertake any relevant or appropriate duties as required.
